Our History
Help Bainet Foundation was originally founded by Franck Petion and Paul Doblas (Deceased) in 2004, under the name “Association Mounn Bainet Nan Floride, (A.M.B, F)”, as a Catholic church based Christian group that was initially operating under the mission of helping fellow Christians based parishioners that lived in Bainet Haiti.
As a direct descendant of Bainet who personally witnessed the deprived situation in the region, Petion vowed to make a difference in reaching out to more people in that region but unfortunately, through AMBF, their original mission were limited to only helping fellow Christians.
In an effort to expand the group’s mission to help more people, petion and Doblas met with Diony Labbe who mutually re-created the group in 2007 under “Help Bainet Foundation”, to specifically help everyone in the region regardless of their church affiliation or political beliefs. Since its creation, the group has been functioning, as a U.S. based registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization based in the state of Florida, with an exclusive charitable mission to aid the underprivileged men, women and children of Bainet, Haiti.
